Reinvesting in our community

Solstice Acquisitions buys businesses in the counties where its founder lives, works, and serves the community. That is a deliberate constraint, and it changes how the firm behaves after a closing.

Sellers ask who, not just how much.

Price is the question an owner asks first and settles fastest. The one that lingers is who ends up holding the thing they built. The employees are neighbors. The customers have been coming back for fifteen years. Most buyers never give that a real answer.

A buyer three time zones away answers it differently than one who will run into your employee at the grocery store. Solstice operates in South Florida and nowhere else, and the work below is part of the same answer.

Building houses in the county where we buy businesses.

Rahul Sudhakar co-chairs the second annual Aim to Build Sporting Clay Tournament, held October 23, 2026 at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch, alongside Boynton Beach Mayor J.P. O’Connor. The tournament raises money for Veterans Build 2026, which serves six veteran households in Boynton Beach on November 6.

He previously served as President of Habitat Young Professionals of Palm Beach, the affiliate’s group for younger volunteers and donors, and led it through the 2023 merger that combined the county’s two Habitat organizations into one.

The practical value to a seller is narrow but real. When a transaction needs a lender, a real estate attorney, a municipal permit, or a licensed trade contractor on short notice, knowing who to call is the difference between a deal that closes in ninety days and one that drifts into next year.

Five counties, and nowhere else.

Every business Solstice acquires sits inside a two-hour drive. That is not a preference so much as the operating model, because a buyer who cannot show up on a Tuesday morning is not really operating the business.
